Our Mission
We Know
the Mission

"We know the mission because we have lived it."

Ursa Mobile is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia. We provide next-generation technology solutions and mission support to customers across the U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community.

Our team is built from the ranks of those who have served — operators, analysts, and program managers with more than four decades of combined experience spanning the Office of the Secretary of Defense, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, the U.S. Navy, and the Intelligence Community.

Leveraging deep operational expertise and a network of trusted technology partners, Ursa Mobile fields solutions that address the full spectrum of national security challenges: from secure communications and advanced technical tools to facility security and overseas program support. We work directly with customers to understand their requirements and deliver outcomes — not just products.

Our Pedigree
Where We've Served
OSD

Office of the Secretary of Defense

Our team includes veterans of OSD with direct experience in senior program management, policy development, and defense acquisition at the departmental level. This background informs how we engage with large, complex government programs and navigate institutional requirements.

SOF

U.S. Army Special Operations Command

USASOC experience grounds our approach to mission support — we understand how operators use tools in the field, what failure looks like under pressure, and what "good enough" is never good enough. This shapes every solution we deliver.

USN

U.S. Navy

Naval service experience brings maritime operational perspective, technical systems integration background, and an understanding of how dispersed forces operate in communications-constrained environments — directly relevant to our secure communications and technology work.

IC

Intelligence Community

Our team's broad experience across the Intelligence Community provides a practical understanding of complex operating environments and how to identify requirements that truly matter beyond their formal definitions. This perspective enables us to deliver higher-quality analytical tools and more effective support.

How We Work
Our Principles
01

Mission First

Every engagement starts with understanding the actual mission requirement — not just the statement of work. We ask the hard questions upfront so that the solution we deliver works in the environment it will be used in.

02

Operator Mindset

Our team has lived the consequences of tools that don't work under pressure. That experience shapes how we evaluate solutions, write requirements, and measure success — outcomes, not deliverables.

03

Trusted Relationships

Defense and intelligence work depends on trust. We operate with the same discretion, integrity, and commitment to partner relationships that define the communities we came from.

04

Small Business Agility

As an SDVOSB, we can move fast, adapt to changing requirements, and provide access to senior talent directly — without layers of management between the customer and the people doing the work.

05

Continuous Engagement

We don't disappear after contract award. Customer-focused engagement is core to how we operate — regular communication, honest reporting, and a bias toward solving problems before they escalate.

06

Veteran Commitment

Ursa Mobile was founded on and continues to honor a commitment to the veteran community — through how we hire, how we serve, and our ongoing recognition by the Virginia Values Veterans V3 Program.
